It's this disease called racism.
And I say “disease” because at this point it is a health crisis, and what else can you call it when something that does not bother your body, it does not bother your person. It is not in your house. You are a human and you have your own life. And just the fact of the way that I look, even before I speak, when you just look at me, it causes anger and frustration and all these things within you.
That is an issue. And it's a health issue that is embedded in your DNA, which means that's a lot of work that has to be done.
